Having a life-long love of Scotland I discovered the beauty of working with Harris Tweed cloth, handwoven in the Hebrides, and began to design and make artisan cushions with appliqué stags, Highland cows and puffins.

After a career as a ballet dancer I continued on a creative path by retraining as a Costumier and worked at the Royal Opera House in London and the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford upon Avon.  After having a family, I continued working for some years as a freelance costumier.  During this time, I also began creating small home accessories and selling at craft fairs, also making custom items to order.

All my Harris Tweed cloth comes direct from suppliers on the isles of Harris and Lewis.  My cushions are sold in shops both on the Isle of Harris and in Inverness.
